Star College recently hosted its annual soccer tournament for underprivileged schools from Mamelodi as part of their 67 minutes for Mandela Day.

Nine schools took part, each bringing eight players along.

Bafana Bafana players Fani Madida, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Edy Dihna joined in the fun.

Tshabalala’s wife, former Miss SA Bokang Montjane, also attended to show her support.

Boikgantsho Primary School walked away as the winners and was awarded with the John “Shoes” Moshoeu Trophy, who was also honoured at the event.

All players received participation medals.
