East woman goes missing after visit with healer

A 54-year-old Mamelodi resident has gone missing after she went to the mountain for perform a ritual.

Zemocha Anna Mampane was last seen by her son on Sunday morning, 5 March wearing white running shoes, a purple skirt and a brown T-shirt.

Police spokesperson Captain Michael Mbewe said the woman and her healer from Lusaka, east of Mamelodi had gone to the mountain for traditional rituals and had not been seen since.

Mampane’s son said the healer returned from the mountain in the afternoon but had since disappeared again.
