Heavy rain predicted this evening for Pretoria

Pretorians are warned to brace themselves for a cold weather as cold front sweeps through Pretoria in the early hours of Saturday.

SA Weather Service said rain and strong winds were expected on Friday in some parts of Gauteng.

Forecaster Bransby Bulo said more rain was predicted for Saturday with temperatures dropping to 12°C.

“Cold conditions would dominate throughout Saturday going into Sunday.”

“Sunday, we’ll see little sunshine with a high of 17°C predicted,” he said.

Bulo said temperatures are expected to recover on Monday and Tuesday as they hit into the low 20’s.
