Cool weather expected this week

Pretorians can breathe a sigh of relief that the cold front is gone, but temperatures are expected to remain cool this week.

SA Weather Service forecaster Victoria Nurse said temperatures would remain relatively low this week with an average of 21-22°C.

“Tuesday and Wednesday will see a high of 21°C with Thursday dropping slightly to 20°C,” she said.

“Going to Friday and into the weekend, temperatures will remain relatively the same. Sunny and clear conditions are expected.”

Asked if another cold front was on the way, Nurse said there was no such prediction for the next seven days.

“No cold front is expected to hit Gauteng however, one needs to take into account that the mornings will be chilly with a minimum of around 6°C and 7°C,” she said.
