Motoryclist injured after falling

A 42-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured when he came off his bike on Atterbury Road, Faerie Glen on Tuesday afternoon.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said the motorcyclist lost control of the bike before coming off.

“Upon assessment of the motorcyclist, paramedics found that the man had sustained serious injuries during the accident”, she said.

“He was found lying a few metres from his bike.”

Mathe said paramedics treated the injured man on scene and then transported him to a nearby hospital.
