Police manhunt for this man

Brooklyn police have made a plea to the public to help nab a man who committed an armed robbery in Waterkloof.

The police said a family was ambushed by a group of men while they were at their home and robbed them.

“The robbers forced the woman and her son back inside the house. The suspects tied all of them up with cable ties. One of the robbers assaulted the woman in the face as he demanded jewellery, firearms and cash,” said the police in a statement.

Police said the suspect made away with a number of valuables in the house and a BMW which was later recovered.

“The house was ransacked for jewelery, cellphones, electronic devices and other items. The robbers fled with their loot in the woman’s BMW and in a white coloured vehicle (make unknown). The woman’s vehicle was recovered in Olievenhoutbosch on the same day.”

The police have appealed to the public to use the identity to help bring the suspect to book.
