Hundreds of whisky lovers from all-over Tshwane crammed the Brooklyn Square for the Whisky Live Festival from Thursday to Saturday.
Whisky Live has a reputation for being the largest, liveliest and most exciting whisky tasting lifestyle show of its kind, bringing all the whiskies of the world together under one roof.
The whisky lovers converged on the Brooklyn Square to get a taste of some of the top-notch whiskies.
The premier spirits event showcases some of the world’s finest single malts and blends.
Not only did attendees have the opportunity to flit (or stumble) from one stall to another tasting peaty Scotch, barrel-fermented American bourbon and the world-famous Irish “water of life”, but guests also got some insight into the story behind each brand.
Ambassadors were on hand to educate whisky lovers on what makes their dram unique, to provide tips on what to pair it with and more.
Whisky Live prides itself on bringing together the finest whiskies, great food and a range of education and entertainment to make learning about whisky both fun and stimulating.
Whether one is a whisky enthusiast an uninitiated newcomer or just looking for a day out that offers something different, Whisky Live has something for everyone.
Whisky Live gives you the unique opportunity to sample the greatest whiskies in the world, while mingling with the producers and distillers, marketers and visitor centre staff, all under one roof. In addition to learning about the world of whisky, you will be able to sample rare and sought-after whiskies and meet the stars of the industry.
Each event has its own local flavour, and provides the greatest insight into this greatest of spirits.

With great food, masterclasses and much more, Whisky Live is a great day out and a memorable experience.
