Through a court interpreter, Molamo told the court on Tuesday he would be representing himself.

The state prosecutor told the court that this was a “high profile case”.

The magistrate said the court made provision for legal representation, should Molamo need it.

He acted the role of Nicholas in the previous version of Generations and is about to start his Sunday afternoon show on East Coast radio on 28 May.
