March to affect streets in the CBD

Motorists warned of the ‘Hire a Graduate’ march in Pretoria central on Wednesday.

The organisation will march to the department of social development at the corner of Bosman and Pretorius streets to hand over their memorandum of demands.

Tshwane Metro Police department spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said the the marchers will assemble at Burgers Park at 10:00.

At 12:00 they are expected to march to the National Department of Treasury at Church Square to hand over the second memorandum, TMPD said.

“They are expected to disperse from there at 14:00.”

Mahamba said metro police will be monitoring the march and all affected streets.

Motorists are advised to avoid the affected streets and use alternative routes.
