Pretoria woman and babies almost killed

A Pretoria woman and her two babies were almost killed when her car was smashed with a rock while driving.

Given Sekgota said on Facebook she was driving from Witbank to Pretoria last Wednesday night when this happened.

“A big rock, a size of 3 bricks came through the front window, hit my daughter’s face and landed on my son’s face, cracking his skull and breaking the nose bones. His right eye was seriously injured.”

Sekgota has by Wednesday not responded to requests for more information on her ordeal.

She was not the only motorist to have been targeted  in this manner the past week.

On Tuesday, a motorist shared a video of his car being smashed with a rock in a similar way while passing under a bridge in Potchefstroom.

The video shared on a Intelligence Bureau SA, a facebook page that offers safety tips and news on crime. Some other users said had gone through a similar experience.

Alex Pattison said “I was almost in a huge accident on Friday. The N1 was chaos with rocks in the dark,”
