Protest to support victims of Xenophobia


A silent protest against xenophobia was held at the Christian Brothers College Mount Edmund Catholic School on Thursday.

ALSO READ: Pretorians march against xenophobia

The learners were holding up posters outside the school in the east of Pretoria.

The protest was initiated by the school’s Edmund Rice Society which focuses on charity and justice.

Learners sought to show support for victims and survivors of xenophobia.

Many people driving past the school showed their appreciation and support by hooting.
