Motorists are advised to use of alternative routes in the Pretoria CBD on Tuesday due to a planned protest march.

The march by the Professional Transport Allied Workers Union is expected to begin at 09:00 from Bosman park station to the Department of Labour and end at 15:00.

The following streets will be affected: Paul Kruger, Jeff Masemola, Visagie, Nana Sita and Francis Baard streets.

Tshwane metro police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said: “The march will be closely monitored by the metro police.”

He urged motorists to drive vigilantly and use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
