Police have recovered a stolen firearm when they intervened in a domestic dispute in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria, on Thursday evening.
“A bullet was spotted on the table as they arrived,” police spokesperson Captain Michael Mbewe said.
Mbewe said that the revolver was linked to a house robbery in Midrand four years ago.
Police also seized drugs during their intervention.
“The suspect will be charged for dealing in drugs, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition with the possibility of additional charges of domestic violence,” Mbewe said.
The 32-year-old man was due to appear in court soon.
