CINEMA NOUVEAU SERVES UP A FEAST OF SHAKESPEARE PRODUCTIONS FROM NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE

Three of playwright William Shakespeare’s most celebrated works, Othello, Macbeth and Coriolanus, have been staged at various theatres around the UK.  All three of these exciting new interpretations of the great bard’s works have been filmed and will be screened in South Africa, thanks to National Theatre Live and Cinema Nouveau.

The first release is Othello, a major new production of Shakespeare’s celebrated play about the destructive power of jealousy. The production will have four screenings at Cinema Nouveau theatres, on 19, 20, 23 and 24 October only.

Othello releases on South African screens on Saturday, 19 October, for four screenings only – on 19, 23 and 24 October at 19:30, and on 20 October at 14:30 – at Cinema Nouveau theatres in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town, and at Ster-Kinekor Blue Route Mall.
